In accordance with the operating procedures, 1. Inspect the standby boiler； 2. After confirming that the boiler is ready for operation, ignite it ； 3. Carry out all timing tasks properly during the voltage boosting process ； 4. Properly warm up the pipes between the standby boiler and the main steam pipe, as well as remove water from them ； 5. Merge furnaces. The method of merging furnaces is: ① Reduce the combustion in the standby furnace. ②For piping systems equipped with steam traps and bypass valves, the steam trap and bypass valve on the steam branch pipe should be opened in advance. ③When the boiler’s steam pressure is 0.5 MPa lower than the pressure in the steam header (0.05 MPa lower for industrial boilers), slowly open the boiler’s main steam valve. Immediately close the drain valve when there is no water hammer sound in the main steam branch, and only steam is discharged with no condensate ； Then open the main steam valve fully to supply steam to the generator (user) through the header. ④Close the bypass valve.
