From personal experience, one should first look at the single-pipe diagram, examine each pipe in the process, and check whether the valve selection and pipeline layout meet the requirements of the process. Then, examine the layout as a whole, focusing on the rationality of the orientation and any collision issues.

Check the pipe layout plan against the equipment layout diagram, structural diagram, and architectural drawings to ensure there are no collisions with equipment or workshop beams and columns, as well as no conflicts with workshop doors and windows ; 3. Check whether there are any collisions in the pipeline layout itself, as well as whether the spacing between pipes is appropriate. 4. Verify whether it is possible to install pipe supports in the pipeline layout, and whether the fixing points for power pipes and the compensators are suitable ; 5. Whether the equipment interfaces match the piping diagrams, etc. Generally, design firms will provide a self-check list for the piping section, which lists in detail all the items that need to be checked; by following this list, mistakes are usually avoided.
It also involves reviewing all the information related to different sections. In some cases, it is necessary to check the basics of the equipment, such as compressors and air coolers. Generally, following the process, one starts by examining the important pipes, those that are under high temperature and pressure or that are large in diameter; these are checked in detail. Then there are the less important pipes, and different reviewers have varying requirements for them
