How can I determine the pressure and flow rate of the seal water for a mechanical seal?
In my opinion, the pressure of the sealing water should be greater than or equal to the outlet pressure of the pump; otherwise, backflow will occur.
Please confirm in accordance with the provisions in API682.

This value is not fixed – for schemes such as 32, 53, and 54, it should be 0.5 ar or 10% higher than the pressure of the medium in the sealing chamber; For scheme 52, it is required to be below the medium pressure, usually only slightly above atmospheric pressure, etc
