Thermocouple installation angle issue

In catalytic cracking, some thermocouples are inserted vertically into the wall, while others are inserted at an angle. Are there any special requirements in terms of design for this? Thank you!
There are no special requirements; it’s sufficient as long as the actual temperature of the reaction can be accurately measured. In some cases, the reactor walls are too thin, so the probe must be inserted at an angle, and moreover, the insertion method varies depending on the location within the same reactor!
