Do you know what the boiling point of polyvinylpyrrolidone is? What is the melting point in degrees?
Polyvinylpyrrolidone is also a type of polymer; its melting point is generally above 100°C, and its boiling point is presumed to be very high. This boiling point depends on the degree of polymerization, and chemical changes occur in the polymer before it reaches its boiling point.
It is a surfactant, so its boiling point should be relatively high; however, different degrees of polymerization should result in different boiling points.
