What is the difference between the turbine impeller of a turbo air compressor and that of a condensing extraction turbine? ; 4. Can 4MW and 6MW extraction steam turbines be converted into turbo air compressors? ;
Let me explain briefly: 1. Advantages: high efficiency, small footprint, low failure rate; disadvantages: low pressure, narrow range of adjustable operating conditions, high noise level, etc. 2. This should be based on the design specifications, as the compression ratio needs to be taken into account. It is estimated to be at least 5000 KW 3. It depends on the equipment from which manufacturer; generally, the steam turbines used in domestic systems are those made by Hangzhou Steam Turbine Co., and they are of the condensing type. I don’t know which manufacturer produced the extraction-condensing turbine mentioned by the original poster; it depends on whether it has an impulse rotor or a reaction rotor. 4. The 6MW extraction steam turbine mentioned by the poster is meant for power generation, right? This machine can be used to drive an air compressor, but its design generally does not permit operation at high speeds; if a transmission is to be installed for modification, it will be difficult to reuse the steam extraction function.
Regarding what was said above, our 6MW turbine is an impulse-type extraction unit manufactured by Hangzhou Steam Turbine. I also would like to ask what is meant by operating at an overspeed – it’s not the rated speed of 3000 r/min.
Isn’t the rate 3000 r/min?
