The principle for equipment layout is: 1. Make the processing path of the product through each piece of equipment as short as possible. When monitoring multiple devices, workers cover the shortest distance when moving between them ; 2. Easy to transport. Equipment for processing large products should be located in workshops equipped with bridge cranes. The equipment for processing long rods should be placed as close as possible to the entrance of the workshop ; 3. Ensure safety. There should be a certain distance between various devices, as well as between the devices and walls or columns. The transmission part of the equipment must be equipped with necessary protective devices ; 4. Facilitates worker operation and work area layout ; 5. Make full use of the workshop’s production area. In a workshop, equipment can be arranged vertically, horizontally, or at an angle depending on the space available, so that no area goes unused.
