Water-coal slurry gasification involves nitrogen purging and steam purging; can these two methods be combined?
I don’t know what the original poster means by ‘merger’ In current water-coal slurry gasification processes, steam purging has been replaced by high-pressure nitrogen purging. The large amount of steam used for purging absorbs heat from the gasifier, thereby reducing its temperature; this has an impact on the continuous operation of the gasifier. Additionally, the presence of large amounts of steam in the gasifier affects the lifespan of the furnace bricks. These are just my personal opinions; I hope to hear others’ views
I’ve never heard of that. Steam purging is steam purging, and high-pressure nitrogen purging is high-pressure nitrogen purging – there’s no such thing as combining them or replacing one with the other.
Now it is basically only purged with high-pressure nitrogen; there is no steam purging anymore
What I mean is what the poster on the 2nd floor said: can nitrogen purging be used in place of steam purging? That way there would be only one type of medium, which would simplify the piping and operations, as well as facilitate the vaporization process.
