Reactive distillation and conventional distillation

I carried out a reactive distillation process, and when calculating the results I found that no reaction occurred – it was just ordinary distillation. I’m not sure what the problem is Could some expert tell me what aspects need attention during the simulation of reactive distillation as compared to ordinary distillation? Where are the differences?
Reactions – the reaction equations need to be entered, and there’s also kinetic control; the parameters related to the kinetic equations must be input as well. It’s still balance control; parameters also need to be entered. Factors such as the residence time of the reaction also need to be specified
