I plan to do a factory process simulation and parameter optimization. But after reading a lot of instructions on ASPEN and PRO II, I still can’t figure out the difference between the two softwares. Your question is so general that it's hard to answer. . . . It can only be said that each has its own advantages. The interface of pro ii is relatively better and easy to use. It is widely used in the field of oil refining. Aspen has stricter conditions of use than pro ii. It must be done within the specified conditions. There is little room for modification, but it has a wider application field than pro ii. To put it bluntly, their essence is the same. In the end, the knowledge is about thermodynamics.

If the simulation you want to imitate is a refinery process, I suggest you use PRO2. If it is a general chemical plant or polymerization plant, I will still use ASPEN. I have made a suite for the EG process myself, and the results are about 98% accurate with the on-site ones.
