Our company is a chemical manufacturing enterprise that is building a new set of facilities for the deep processing of tar. What are the advantages and disadvantages of installing conventional street lights compared to solar street lights? I hope everyone can provide good methods and street light manufacturers. Solar street lights require a high initial investment, but have low maintenance and operation costs (such as electricity bills and bulb replacements); however, it is necessary to ensure that the level of illumination is sufficient.

Newly established enterprises generally take street lighting into account during electrical design, so there is no need to use solar street lights. Since solar street lights do not have very high brightness and therefore fail to meet the design requirements, they rely on batteries for power at night. If higher illumination levels are desired, explosion-proof features would also be necessary, which would result in high construction costs; from an economic perspective, this approach is not feasible. Solar street lights are generally used in areas where low brightness is sufficient and where it is inconvenient to have access to mains electricity.
It is recommended not to use solar street lights, mainly for the following reasons: 1) The production areas have high requirements for lighting, especially in chemical enterprises, where high reliability is essential. 2) The technology of solar street lights has not yet reached a stage where it can be widely used, and urban municipal roads are also in the experimental phase.
