Operating Procedures for the Combustion Furnace: 1. Before igniting and heating the combustion furnace, the entire system must be purged to ensure that the oxygen level is ≥20%. When starting up the furnace, air should be introduced first, followed by the supply of fuel; when shutting it down, the fuel supply should be stopped first, then the air supply, and finally the air intake. 2. When shutting down the furnace and extinguishing the fire, it is necessary to cut off the vent gas and gas, open the vent valve for the vent gas, and also open the vent valve for moisture removal in order to prevent the vent gas and gas from leaking back into the furnace and causing an explosion. 3. The peak temperature in the combustion furnace must not exceed 1100°C; once this temperature is reached, measures must be taken promptly to reduce it. This can be achieved by opening the air supply valves to increase the amount of air supplied, or by reducing the amount of exhaust gas released. 4. When the hot spot temperature of the furnace is below 750°C, it is strictly prohibited to supply blast air; blast air can only be supplied after the hot spot temperature is raised to 800°C. After the combustion furnace is shut down, if the temperature drops below 720°C, it must be restarted. If the first attempt at ignition is unsuccessful, the furnace must be refilled with qualified material before attempting ignition again. 5. The liquid level in the combustion furnace must be strictly maintained between 1/2 and 2/3 to prevent accidents caused by steam carrying water or water shortage. If it is not possible to raise the liquid level in time, the combustion furnace must be stopped immediately following the standard shutdown procedures, and it can only be restarted once the liquid level has been increased. 6. In the event of a sudden power outage, it is necessary to quickly close the vent gas and gas valves, open the vent gas release valve, shut down the three nozzles and air distribution valves, and at the same time open the moisture release valve. The entire system will then be in a state of being isolated from external conditions. If the shutdown lasts for an extended period, the steam valve at the superheater outlet must be closed, and the steam release valve should be left slightly open. 7. It is necessary to constantly monitor the pressure of the vent gas; this pressure must not exceed 20 KPa, as otherwise it may extinguish the burner, cause an explosion, and damage the combustion furnace. When the vent gas pressure exceeds 20 KPa, the vent valve must be opened to release the gas. 8. In each shift, soot blowing must be carried out at least once following a from-front-to-back sequence to prevent system blockages. The initial pressure for soot blowing should be ≥7.5 MPa; pay attention to the operation of the air compressor and drain water promptly to avoid accidents.
