One of the CO2 analyzers has a serious zero-point drift issue. What’s going on? I’m using a Mahle S710, and it’s been around for about 5 years now
Maybe it’s time to replace the detector, after all, it’s been around for quite some time. Also, it’s possible that high-concentration gases were measured; it hasn’t recovered yet, so blow it with fresh air. Then correct with a standard gas. Good luck to you.
Run a leak test to see if air has gotten in
Leakage has a significant impact on the drift of the detector’s zero point, whether it is at high levels or in trace amounts; One is CO2 in the air, and the other is H2O. In ordinary infrared analyzers, desiccants are present in the measurement chamber (optical path), the generator, and the optical path switcher. When these desiccants become supersaturated, the zero point shifts; by contacting the manufacturer, it can be replaced. You can also ask the manufacturer to come and replace it. I am referring to your dual-path online infrared system.
Will putting in argon have an effect? I’ve heard of it for the first time. If this claim is true, it is not impossible to measure the trace amounts of CO2 in the air using infrared technology.

Check the parameters; if the difference between the reference value and the measured value is large, it’s usually a problem with the sensor. If everything is normal, then perform the calibration two more times
