Today, while preparing to shut down the synthesis cycle machine by pulling the handle, the operator’s movement was not precise enough, resulting in repeated motions; this caused arcing and discharge from the handle of that electrical panel, which in turn led to several compressors located away from that panel also tripping. Could you all analyze the reason? Could discharge cause voltage fluctuations, which in turn lead to other devices shutting down?
