Tungsten inert gas welding filler material?

Thread Content

Our company uses TIG welding to weld 16MnR+0Cr18Ni9 composite plates. Currently, we have welding wires made of H00Cr24Ni13 material; according to the JB/T4709-2000 standard, H1Cr24Ni13 welding wires are recommended. I’m not sure if this will work, so I would appreciate some guidance from those with more experience.

For the transition layer, ER309 can be used; that is, for the H1Cr24Ni13 cladding layer, ER308, or H0Cr21Ni10 welding wire, will suffice.

It can be used for welding, but the carbon content is different.
