It is understood that many urea production plants in China have adopted the Slamm hydrolysis technology, with good results. Please introduce or discuss: What is the steam consumption of this hydrolysis technology? How many kilograms of high-pressure steam are required per ton of ammonia water?
The Slam hydrolysis technique works well. The steam consumption of this hydrolysis technology is 2.5 T/h. (Large-scale fertilizers)
Please add on the 2nd floor: what is the hydrolysis load in cubic meters of ammonium carbonate solution? That is, with 2.5 tons of hydrolysis steam per hour, what is the load on the hydrolysis unit? How many kilograms of steam are consumed per ton of ammonium carbonate solution? Also, could you please let me know what the pressure of the hydrolysis steam is?
Desorption-hydrolysis load: 42–45 T/h. Components: NH3 5–7%, CO2 1–2%, Ur 1–2%. Steam pressure: 3.7 Mpa. Steam temperature: 385°C. Steam volume: 2.5–3.0 T/h. Urea production: 73.3 T/h
The hydrolyzer in Snam’s hydrolysis-desorption system is horizontal; it uses high-pressure steam at 3.8 MPa, and the higher temperature is employed to carry out the hydrolysis of urea. It has only one theoretical stage. Due to the high operating temperature, hydrolysis is relatively complete. The urea content is within the specified range, and the steam consumption per ton of carbon-ammonia solution is 70 kilograms
With proper heat recovery, steam consumption can be reduced to 2.2 tons.
Steam pressure: 3.7 Mpa Steam temperature: 385℃ Steam output: 2.5--3.0 T/h
The sludge hydrolyzer is horizontal, with several partitions inside that divide it into several small chambers. The design parameters are generally a steam pressure of 3.7 Mpa, and a desorption-hydrolysis load of 42 T/h. Consumes 2/h of steam. However, some manufacturers also use high-pressure steam with a weight of over 100 kilograms as the heat source.
