How to increase the initial boiling point of crude vapor?
To increase the initial boiling point of crude gasoline, it is possible to raise the temperature after cooling in the vapor condenser at the top of the distillation tower, thereby preventing the light components in the crude gasoline from condensing and going into the rich gas stream; this approach helps to raise the initial boiling point of the crude gasoline. However, it increases the load on the compressor, as well as the reaction pressure and the temperature at the top of the tower.
This should be included in your operating procedures. I think the key is to control the top temperature of the distillation tower as well as the flow rate of the cold reflux; another important aspect is to keep the temperature in the middle section under control so that diesel components don’t end up in the gasoline fraction
It is possible to do this by increasing the cold return flow at the top of the tower, reducing the heat source at the bottom of the tower, or increasing the pressure in the tower!
Generally, the initial boiling point of gasoline is not adjusted to be higher. . . Such problems do not arise in actual oil refining operations. . . . :lol
