The cylinder material is 16MnR, while the nozzle material is 20; according to GB50341, the ratio of tensile strengths should be less than 0.8, and the nozzles do not contribute to reinforcement. How should the diameter of the openings be determined? According to GB50341, note 2 of Table 10.4.1-1: no reinforcement is required when the opening diameter is less than or equal to 50 ； Note 4: The thickness dimension does not include the thickness allowance. So, is reinforcement needed when DN=40 and the wall thickness is 5.0?
According to the statement in \"Note 2 of Table 10.4.1-1: Reinforcement is not required when the opening diameter is 50 or less,\" pipes with DN40 and any wall thickness do not require reinforcement.
