When the composition of a component is represented in the form of C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, etc., how should it be entered? Can we represent them using their alkane forms respectively? For forms like C10+, can we just use C11 alkanes to represent them?
It shouldn’t be possible. My understanding is that, for real components, ASPEN must know their specific expressions; otherwise, simulation cannot be carried out.
