Is it from the same company as Aspen? What are the functional differences?
You mean UNISIM, right? It is now a HONEYWELL product; in fact, it is HYSYS. When ASPENTECH acquired HYSYS back then, due to antitrust requirements, ASPEN was forced to sell HYSYS’ code and some of its staff to HONORWERLL. Right now it’s HYSYS; two companies are working on it. Of course, each should have its own development. They look the same; I believe their basic functions are identical, with only slight differences in certain additional features.
It should be Unisim; it’s similar to HYSYS and Aspen Dynamics, used for dynamic simulation

How is Unisim doing these days? A friend of mine abroad said that this software is very cheap overseas, practically free of charge. Is that true?
Unisim is a good choice; it’s impossible to get it for free
