PRO/E is generally used for 3D modeling, and it can also be used for 2D drawing, but in my opinion, CAD has more powerful functions for 2D drawing! PRO/E has the capability of 3D guidance with 2D output, which is quite convenient for drawing complex part diagrams.

CAD can be used to create 3D models, but once they are created it’s not possible to modify them by changing parameters, which is quite frustrating. Use PROE for 3D work and CAD for 2D work
