I’m new to the expander and have a simple question.: For a certain expander, when the inlet flow is known, is the outlet pressure determined? And how to adjust the outlet pressure of the expander?

Yeah? I used to think that the expander should be like a pump or compressor, with some kind of performance curve equation, and the outlet parameters can be calculated from the inlet parameters.
The outlet pressure of the turboexpander depends on the back pressure. In fact, the outlet pressure of centrifugal machinery depends on back pressure. The same is true for centrifugal compressors. For an air compressor designed to discharge 8 kilograms, if you fully open the vent valve to discharge the atmosphere, it will definitely not reach 4 kilograms.
