How should “air register” be translated in the English materials on burners?

I’ve been reading quite a bit of English material on burners recently, and I’m not sure about the translation of \"air register\". If I translate it as \"air distributor\", then articles usually also use the term \"air generator\"; in my opinion, \"air distributor\" is a more appropriate translation for the latter term. Moreover, some articles use \"air register\", while others use \"air resister\". Does anyone who is more familiar with this topic have any advice?

Hehe, English grammar has a wide range of applications, and I’m not entirely sure either.
An oil burner is mainly composed of an oil nozzle, an air regulator, and a flame stabilizer. So I guess translating it as a damper might be more appropriate.

Air baffles, air conditioners, or in other words, air distributors, have many different English translations!
May I ask, which dictionary are you using?
Is it better to explain it using dampers?
