There was a time when I kept searching for a website – one that matched my area of expertise and allowed for communication with others in that field. Over the years, I never managed to find such a site; perhaps it’s too specialized, too dull… After all, who would want to create a website that offers no ‘returns’? At one point, one might have felt the isolation associated with work, its lack of interest, and the frustration that comes from facing difficult problems at work. Perhaps one has visited countless bookstores or consulted many experts, but what was the result? It’s always so disappointing; facing the lack of professionalism and flexibility in professional books really leaves one at a loss. I met “Haichuan” by chance, and I was instantly captivated. It’s unbelievable – isn’t this exactly what I was looking for? Isn’t this the treasure chest I’ve longed for day and night? I felt as though I were a hungry baby suddenly given mother’s milk, sucking eagerly and filled with excitement; to such an extent that even in the middle of the night I kept clicking on the computer. My wife kept urging me to go to bed, but I just couldn’t bear to leave, thinking that closing the computer would mean losing it all. Gradually, I became familiar with the environment there and the way of thinking that prevails there. I truly felt like I was in a paradise of knowledge, where I met professionals from various places who could communicate freely. Everyone shared their work experience and skills without reservation, and they also mentioned what help they needed, exchanging ideas and experiences with one another. I have found good teachers and friends for myself; I no longer need to run around buying books. I just sit in front of the computer and with a simple click, everything is taken care of. I told my colleagues about “HaiChuan,” and they too felt its charm. They all said they benefited greatly from it – truly, “As the sea embraces all rivers, so is it great because of its capacity to hold many things.””
