What measures does everyone take to protect heat exchangers from scaling?
There are many ways to prevent scaling on the water side of heat exchangers, one of which is to maintain a relatively high and uniform flow velocity on that side. This can slow down the rate of scaling. For example, choosing an appropriate number of tubes can increase the flow velocity within them ; Appropriate structures such as spiral baffles are employed to increase the flow velocity outside the tubes and reduce flow dead zones, etc.
There is a fairly detailed discussion in this connection! http://bbs.hcbbs.com/thread-360048-1-22.html

1. Use softened water; 2. Add scale and corrosion inhibitors ; 3. Use an electronic descaling device.
Ensuring water quality is the most important thing – it’s the source! ! Use as little water that tends to cause scale as possible! ! !
