The petroleum coke conveyor belt system in our facility often deviates from its path when it rains, and once this happens, it is very difficult and time-consuming to correct the issue, which affects the transportation process.
No experts familiar with the tube conveyor machine have arrived yet; I hope everyone can discuss this and offer some help.
As for completely preventing the deviation of the conveyor belt, there are no current studies on this; however, for monitoring such deviations, we have a product that can perform excellent detection tasks!
If rain causes the conveyor to deviate from its path, consider using rain protection measures, as rain can disrupt the original dynamic balance of the conveyor belt.
The original poster should consider the suggestion from the 4th floor – why not start by focusing on rain protection?
What type is your conveyor belt? What style is the belt, and what is its length? Check these parameters to determine the cause of the issue
Add adjusting idlers; adjust them when deviation occurs, and that’s it.
