Our factory is a sulfuric acid production facility; we managed to get through the winter, but the prospects remain bleak. The company wants to develop downstream products from sulfuric acid; firstly, to use up some of the sulfuric acid and reduce inventory pressure, and secondly, to engage in further processing in order to earn more money. We have examined several options now, and the boss is particularly interested in copper sulfate (for use in feed and electroplating). You might try making ammonium sulfate; it’s just a suggestion
Liquid sulfur trioxide, superphosphate (if phosphate rock resources are available), titanium dioxide, etc., are all options; this is for reference only.
It is recommended to use sulfuric acid as a reagent; it just requires heating a few glass bottles. The investment is not large; the key is to consider demand. There are many downstream products for sulfuric acid, and the production processes are not particularly difficult. It mainly depends on market demand and profit margins. Transportation, environmental protection, investment amounts, and so on are all key considerations!
With the development of sulfonation, liquid sulfur trioxide now requires increasingly larger spheres. Additionally, chlorosulfonic acid and thionyl chloride are also widely used in sulfonation; these are all excellent downstream products of sulfuric acid.
