15 years ago, I graduated from a junior college with a degree in electrical automation. I worked as a duty electrician, maintenance electrician, and electrical technician at a 40,000-ton ammonia synthesis plant for 10 years; during that time I self-studied civil water supply and drainage systems, and in my free time I handled electrical and water supply/drainage tasks in civil building designs for small design firms. 5 years ago, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in mechatronics. I then joined a small chemical plant where I was responsible for equipment and electrical and instrumentation-related tasks. Three years ago, the plant started a new chemical production project, and the owner assigned me as the overall supervisor for that project – in charge of the chemical processing procedures, civil construction work, equipment, electrical and instrumentation systems, as well as the project’s cost budgeting. I felt a great deal of pressure and realized that my knowledge wasn’t sufficient. The project was finally completed and put into operation 1 year ago. Well, now I can finally take a break. One should keep learning throughout life; there’s still three-tenths left to learn!

The boss has assigned me new tasks: our head office also has a plastic manufacturing plant and a low-voltage electrical equipment manufacturing plant. The boss has asked me to work on the development of new products, market development, as well as the design of molds. It’s a huge responsibility ahead of me!
