Before introducing new equipment into the utility systems, the following steps must be taken: 1. Before introducing new equipment, the systems need to be purged and pressure-tested, with vents at the ends used to remove any contaminants. 2. All valves should be checked according to the process flow; the flow paths should be opened, and the blind flanges used for pressure testing should be removed. 3. It is necessary to verify that all orifice plates, flow meters, control valves, thermometers, and pressure gauges are properly installed. 4. If access to the pumps is required, their inlet filters must have been cleaned and installed. 5. Proper drainage arrangements must be in place for steam to prevent water hammer. 6. After the circulating water starts flowing through the equipment, it should operate for 24 hours before stopping to clean the sediment from the circulation water tower, after which it can operate again.
The main steps are to empty it, conduct pressure testing, and if time permits, verify whether the flow meter is accurate
Contact the relevant units to make preparations; after restoring all utility processes, introduce these utilities into the facility and remove any impurities. Check the quality of the utilities as well as for any leaks in the pipelines, and where possible, carry out calibration and organize the data accordingly
