Through the Design Center, users can organize access to graphics, blocks, hatches, and other graphic content. Any content from the source graphic can be dragged into the current graphic. Graphics, blocks, and fills can be dragged to the tool palette. The source graphic can be located on the user’s computer, a network location, or a website. Additionally, if multiple drawings are open, it is possible to simplify the drawing process by using the Design Center to copy and paste other elements between them (such as layer definitions, layouts, and text styles). Using the Design Center, you can: browse for graphic content on the user’s computer, network drives, and Web pages (such as graphic or symbol libraries); view the definitions of named objects (such as blocks and layers) in graphic files within definition tables, and then insert, attach, copy, and paste these definitions into the current graphic; update (redefine) block definitions; create shortcuts to frequently used graphics, folders, and Internet addresses; add content to graphics (such as external references, blocks, and fills); open graphic files in new windows; and drag graphics, blocks, and fills onto the tool palettes for easy access
