After installing Aspen2006, there is no SQL file! After running Aspen2006, it’s impossible to access the database! Solution: The Micorosoft SQL Server Desktop Engine file is supposed to be installed automatically when Aspen 2006 is installed. But it just won’t install automatically on my computer (even when I turn off my antivirus software). Therefore, it is necessary to follow the suggestion from Floor 5 and download http://www.gdninetowns.com/agent/downloads/MSDE.exe separately. After installing Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine, install Aspen 2006; once the computer is restarted, SQL can be used normally. This post was last edited by hc0228 on 2009-3-1 20:27]
It’s possible that some components weren’t installed during the process; you can try uninstalling and reinstalling it.
I’ve reinstalled it at least 5 times, and it’s the same file; it works on another computer! Only my computer doesn’t have the SQL file! During installation, these files should be installed automatically; after installation is complete, they should be available once the system is restarted! But after I completed the installation, there was no prompt to restart my computer, and even after restarting it, the SQL file did not start! So frustrating!
Try reinstalling the system; do a overwrite installation
Try installing it with the next MS SQL

Hehe, you solved it too quickly. Maybe I saw it too late; I know that.
