Which schools are good for the corrosion prevention major (or similar majors)?
Personal opinion: University of Science and Technology Beijing (in terms of materials), Tianjin University and Zhejiang University (in terms of electrochemistry), Beijing University of Chemical Technology and Huazhong University of Science and Technology (in terms of corrosion inhibitors), East China University of Science and Technology and Nanjing University of Science and Technology (in terms of water treatment). In addition, there are also Nanchang University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Dalian University of Technology, and so on. Most corrosion prevention experts in China are concentrated at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Zhejiang University, and the Institute of Metallurgy of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Both 2# and 5# are correct! In fact, the research directions of various universities or research institutions vary slightly, just as #2 mentioned. It depends on the career or research direction you hope to pursue in the future
I think Huguang University can do well in this area as well

Each field has its own advantages, and many industries require expertise in corrosion prevention; it depends on one’s interests or perception of which industry has the best prospects.
