How to keep the air in a chemical plant fresh? How to start from the source? For example: controlling the airtightness of the reaction. But when there is a lot of acid mist and dust in the workshop, what can be done to improve the air quality there? Hope to discuss
1. The reaction vessel is sealed, and the vent is connected to a collection pipe for treatment before discharge. 2. Try to avoid using vacuum feeding; instead, use pumping for feeding. 3. Acid mist gas is collected and treated in an absorption tower, while dust is treated by dry (or wet) methods before being recovered. 4. Improve ventilation in the workshop.
Construct a negative-pressure absorption device to absorb and treat waste gas and dust. Forced ventilation, exhaust. It still doesn’t work, so we have to improve the manufacturing process.
All the materials in our workshop are in liquid form, so there is no dust. Grass is planted all around the facility, and the control room is completely enclosed except for the doors used for entry and exit. The central air conditioning system operates 24 hours a day, and three air purifiers are also installed in the control room; however, the air quality inside the control room still seems to be inferior to that outside.
One is the air quality inside the workshop, and the other is the air quality within the entire factory area; both need to be considered together. It’s best if emissions can be controlled at their source inside the workshop (through appropriate processes and equipment). If an immediate solution is needed, ventilation is the simplest option: just open all the windows to allow fresh air to enter through air convection
In general, workshops that require air treatment use exhaust fans to draw the air from the workshop through various air treatment devices such as filtration systems, absorption purification systems, and strong oxidation purification systems. This helps to ensure the quality of the air in the workshop. Isn’t that the case in many pharmaceutical factories?
