If the insulation effect is good, the pipe damage will be less. Otherwise, it will be relatively large and difficult to estimate. 3. How high is the superheat of the steam delivered by the other party? If the superheat is higher, at least the loss caused by condensation during transportation will be less. Otherwise, it is difficult to calculate.
The steam flow meter measures mass flow. As long as there is no leakage, theoretically it has nothing to do with pipe damage. Pipe loss refers to the loss of pressure and temperature. The steam flow meter has temperature and pressure compensation. If the accuracy and adjustment of the two flow meters are in place, the flow rate difference will not be too big. For flowmeters involved in settlement, the installation location and deviation must be agreed in advance. Each school on the steam supply side and the user side start from their own perspectives, and the differences will be huge. I have seen a very poisonous practice, except installing flow meters at the inlet and outlet respectively. In the middle section of the pipeline, a flow meter is installed and locked. When the difference is large, it will be checked and debated.
