For a small tower with a diameter of 200 MM, a pressure of over 10 kilograms, and a top temperature of 175 degrees, what is the best method for controlling the pressure? Since the temperature at the top of the tower is quite high, I’m worried that controlling the amount of cooling water used might cause it to boil. Do you have any good suggestions? As long as the cooling water has sufficient pressure and the condenser is properly designed, controlling the amount of cooling water should not be a problem!
Of course, you’re right that if the condenser is designed very well, it’s theoretically possible to do this. But since this device is relatively small, there might be greater errors in its design; and once such errors occur, it will be very troublesome to operate it later on
If the condenser is designed to be large, use air cooling!
I took a look; it seems that air cooling isn’t very easy to use either. Is there a better way?
Directly control the flow rate of the gas phase. Small tower: the gas-phase pipeline is not large, so a control valve should be installed on it

It seems to me like they’re all using jargon! The pressure in the tower is controlled by pressure control valves at the outlet of the tower top condenser and at the vent, and it has nothing to do with the condenser itself. As for the pressure resistance of the condenser, that is something that needs to be addressed during its design phase.
The pressure in the tower is controlled by pressure control valves at the outlet of the tower top condenser and at the vent setup~~~~ Adjusting the outlet of the condenser means adjusting its area, while venting is necessary when there are non-condensable gases generated in the system. It’s difficult to implement these two methods in my system.
Let’s find out first: what is the boiling point of water at a pressure of over 10 kilograms? If it’s higher than 175 degrees, then no amount of water will boil.
The cooling water side is of normal pressure, certainly not over 10 kilograms.
