It is difficult to stratify the new mixed-bed; I would like to know the reasons for this. Currently, stratification can only be achieved after adding alkali. How should it be solved?

With new resins, it is generally understood that the cation and anion resins cannot become completely ineffective; when the water produced by the mixed-bed system has a concentration of less than 1M, about 60% of the resins remain functional.
