In the later stages of construction, the client requested that an additional level detection transmitter be installed on the already assembled equipment. The type of equipment is a sealed unit with a mixing mechanism; it has already been completed and opening it is not allowed, as the medium may contain sediment I have a headache – what model of level transmitter can meet these requirements? !
It would be radioactive then, but if speaking isn’t allowed, it can only be used in an exogenous form, requiring a higher dose.:)
How can it be measured without an opening? If only level interlocking is required, external ultrasonic level switches could be considered. For continuous measurement, it’s impossible without an opening, I think
Not a single hole to open; I can’t think of any solution.
Could we consider adding a tee to the outlet pipe, with one end leading to the pump and the other end connected to a single-flange level gauge? By adjusting the range, it will be possible to determine the liquid level; however, the issue of sedimentation needs to be taken into account!
A radioactive transmission could be considered. But it’s expensive.
It can be measured in this way: the existing device port is modified into a tee port, with the radar installed at the vertical port and the process port on the side. However, the radar emission port needs to be extended, which requires custom fabrication
It is possible to consider making an opening in the feed pipe located behind the bottom valve, and using an insert-type flanged level transmitter to measure the liquid level; the negative pressure side can be connected by taking a pressure reading from the gas phase of the reactor
Are there any on-site level indicators such as glass panels? If available, a tee can be added to the pressure tapping tube of the glass plate. Is there a manhole on the top of the tank? Holes can be made in the manhole to install level gauges such as radar and ultrasonic ones.
