The diesel produced by the hydrocracking unit is good, with less impurities in the raw material, low sulfur content, and little odor. Atmospheric diesel does not have these advantages, and atmospheric diesel also has a strong smell of hydrogen sulfide, which is unbearable when cleaning. We use hydrocracking self-produced diesel when cleaning.
Straight-run diesel from atmospheric and vacuum units contains more impurities and can be used for cleaning, but it is not as good as refined diesel.

You are referring to the Bohr filter, right? Jinling Hydrocracking has such a set. They use cracked diesel, which has relatively good solubility. As you said, it will definitely not work with straight-burning diesel, let alone the second-line and third-line filters. Even the regular first line used to produce jet fuel is not good. There are too many impurities and the filter cannot handle it.
