In the design, I encountered a non-radial fitting; when using sw6 for calculations, it is required to enter the outer diameter of the reinforcement ring. How is this value determined? Please advise.
In fact, the outer diameter of the standard reinforcement ring can be used directly. It’s different in reality. The cross-sectional width of the reinforcement rings should be kept equal, so the actual reinforcement rings should be non-circular.
Agree with the answer above; when calculating, if the reinforcement is insufficient, simply increase the thickness
The outer diameter of the reinforcement ring can be taken according to the values specified in the standard JB/T4736; for values outside this standard range, one can choose appropriate values for verification, but the spacing issue needs to be taken into consideration
