Your comments + are my greatest encouragement! Auto CAD2004 Notes – Preliminary Knowledge: When representing graphics, unless otherwise specified, units are always millimeters. Smoothness setting: Tools/Options/Display/Smoothness of arcs and circles – set to 20,000. Note: To disable the maximum value right-click function: Tools/Options/User System Configuration/Do not display shortcut menu in the drawing area. To set a password: Tools/Options/Open and Save/Security options below. Object snap settings: Tools/Sketch Settings/Object Snap—Select All. UCS icon visibility: View/Display/UCS Icon/(On/Off). Relative coordinates: Add @ in front. Relative rectangular coordinate format: @variable for X, variable for Y. Relative polar coordinate format: @length

I encourage the original poster: the most useful learning materials for such software are those of the WYSIWYG type; those that come with image references are truly top-notch

In fact, many problems arise when using ACAD; these can be solved on one’s own or by seeking help from others. It would be very valuable to record this information as study notes. But not everyone has the inclination to keep such records. The original poster is doing great – by keeping regular notes, they can refer to them if they forget something, and these notes can also serve as a resource for others to learn from!
