The ethylene and propylene production facilities at Lanzhou Petrochemical are gradually taking shape (Photo): http://news.cnpc.com.cn/images/A012007011.jpg China National Petroleum News Center: http://news.cnpc.com.cn/images/A012007011.jpg The photo shows the site where the floating valve tower is being installed. Photo by special correspondent Zhai Min. According to China Petroleum Network, on February 16, with the successful installation of the third section of the 26-ton floating valve tower, it was marked that all 11 tower units for the plant capable of producing 30,000 tons per year of both methanol and ethanol had been installed following more than 6 months of construction work by CNPC’s Second Construction Company; thus, the plant has now taken initial shape. The annual production capacity of 30,000 tons using both type A and type B units is one of the key projects in Lanzhou Petrochemical Company’s 11th Five-Year Plan. Once completed, the facility will effectively increase the production capacity of both methanol and ethanol products at Lanzhou Petrochemical, thereby promoting the sustainable development of the chemical industry. Since the project began construction last August, CNPC Second Construction Company, which is responsible for its execution, has organized the work meticulously in line with the principle that \"direction is more important than efficiency, planning is more important than implementation, safety is more important than schedule, and quality is more important than cost\", ensuring that the project progresses in a favorable, orderly, and effective manner. At present, the construction of the concrete foundation for the facility has been completed entirely; over 90% of the steel structure installation is done, and 96 sets of various tower equipment have been installed. The prefabrication of process pipelines will be carried out in phases.
Both Jia and Yi are new varieties developed by Lanzhou Petrochemical. Given that Lanzhou Petrochemical, a veteran enterprise in China, manages to achieve success in whatever it undertakes, it is certain to remain at the forefront in the country. Congratulations!
Same for both A and B; Molecular formula: CH3COCH2CH3; CAS number: Properties: Also known as **same, butyl same,** methyl same. Colorless, volatile liquid. It has a smell similar to that of propylene. It is miscible with ethanol and ether. Flash point 30°F (-1°C) (closed cup). Boiling point: 79.64°C. Relative density 0.8049 ; 0.7997. Refractive index 1.3788 ; 1.3764. Vapor pressure (25°C): 12 kPa. It is a Class 1 flammable liquid. Its toxicity is greater than that of propyl, it is **sexually active**, and it can cause a decline in central nervous system function. It is non-corrosive to metals, and can be stored in containers made of iron, mild steel, copper, or aluminum. Sec-butanol is produced by the hydration of butylene with sulfuric acid using nickel or zinc oxide as catalysts, followed by dehydrogenation at atmospheric pressure. It is commonly used as a solvent for various polymer compounds such as nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, vinyl resins, acrylic resins, alkyd resins, phenol-formaldehyde resins, as well as in paints and inks; it also serves as a binder for dyes. Additionally, it is utilized in detergents, as a dewaxing agent for lubricants, as a vulcanization accelerator, and as a reaction intermediate.
I don’t know what process is used, or what catalyst is employed?
Reply to 5# juzihongle9861: A humble question – what is your company?
May I ask how much the original poster invested in this project? How many mu is the land area? What is the estimated annual total profit and tax amount?
It’s right next to our house. Good heavens
