Everyone, please help! :I urgently need to know if there are any regulations or standards regarding oil separation tanks that require measures to prevent rain damage and overflow. Also, how should the sludge that is removed be handled? Given the high water content, can it be left to dry naturally in the open area around the oil separator? (:L Actually, it seems like it shouldn’t be possible, but I can’t find any evidence to support that.) It would be great if a specific name for the rule or standard could be provided~~ Thank you very much! :)

Previously, the oil waste from our factory’s oil separation tanks was uniformly cleaned up, transported, and disposed of by a company affiliated with the development zone management committee; the factory only needed to pay the corresponding fees.
Just find a specialized design firm to handle it.

Thank you all for your help! I might not have explained it clearly. Our company’s cafeteria is outsourced, and it is the logistics department that is responsible for its management. When our environmental department inspected the conditions of the cafeteria, we found that the oil separation tank there was extremely rudimentary – there was only a piece of board used to cover it slightly, and the sludge removed from the tank was simply piled up in an open area nearby to dry naturally. We asked the cafeteria to make corrections, but the logistics department demanded that we provide specific details regarding the relevant regulations, that is, we needed to explain why such changes were necessary What is the basis? Oil separator: I seem to have seen a specific requirement last year; I can’t remember exactly where it appeared. Steam pipes are to be added to the oil separator, presumably for fire suppression purposes.
Generally, oil separation tanks should be designed by professional firms; architectural plans should include relevant specifications for this purpose. Some environmental protection companies also offer such services. For smaller kitchens, it is possible to handle this task oneself by constructing a concrete tank. Water enters the tank in stages, and the overflow water is collected. The oil on the surface is removed and gathered in buckets for disposal outside the facility. The sludge needs to be cleaned out periodically, and it can be collected using trash bins. I assume your company’s cafeteria is quite large, so three-stage oil separation tanks are necessary. These tanks should be covered with lids, and the materials collected as a result of oil separation shouldn’t be piled up on the spot; they should be stored in containers instead
