Which pipes or equipment need polishing?

Equipment in the general pharmaceutical and food industries requires polishing; this is less common in the chemical industry. Chemical equipment used in pharmaceuticals and food additives is polished selectively, or for aesthetic reasons. Personal opinion, for reference only.
My personal experience is that to prevent equipment from sticking, stainless steel equipment in particular needs to be polished to avoid such sticking
Equipment with hygiene requirements, such as those used in the pharmaceutical and food industries, requires polishing of its grates. It is mainly to prevent contamination caused by materials sticking to the walls.
I believe there are two reasons why pipes or equipment need to be polished: First, in industries where such pipes or equipment are used, such as pharmaceuticals, food processing, and beverage production – industries that have strict requirements regarding hygiene – polishing is necessary, mainly to prevent contamination of the surfaces by materials； Second, the requirements of your users. Your users request polishing for the aesthetic appearance of the device.
In my opinion, medical and food processing equipment requires polishing, and some chemical processing equipment also needs polishing (where there is a requirement to prevent buildup).
Not all polymerization reactors need to be polished! !
