Each process package is different! PID or logic
That’s a good question: it can’t be answered in one sentence. It depends on what the key technologies or proprietary technologies in your process package are. For example, in low-temperature methanol washing, the key are the material flow balance data ； Gasification involves logical control and design parameters of the gasifier ； PSA is of course logically controlled. Generally speaking, a process package mainly includes heat and mass balance data, design parameters for key equipment, as well as key controls.
In terms of process design, there are: PFD + material balance； PID ； Process proprietary technologies, process know-how, etc. In terms of equipment: PDS and EDS for key process equipment; in terms of electrical and instrumentation systems: control schemes for key process parameters and logic diagrams
