What units in refineries are used to produce residue and aviation fuel?

Atmospheric and vacuum distillation units: 1. Atmospheric distillation can produce atmospheric residue, while vacuum distillation can produce vacuum residue. 2. The straight-run fraction from atmospheric and vacuum distillation can be used as aviation fuel, but its quality is poor and the degree of processing is low. The straight-run fraction must be refined, primarily to remove thiols. Straight-run aviation fuel has a low density and a high freezing point, meeting the specifications for Grade 2 aviation fuel. 3. The vacuum distillate oil from atmospheric and vacuum distillation can pass through a hydrocracking unit. 4. Vacuum residue can be produced as reduced-viscosity residue through a visbreaking process.
