What are the requirements for the air intake of a pressure swing adsorption unit? Must the distance from the ammonia synthesis plant be 300 meters?
There’s no such rule, right? It depends on what gas you’re compressing
For oxygen production using pressure swing adsorption, according to the design specifications for oxygen generation stations, there should be no ammonia synthesis systems within a 300-meter radius; after all, it is already an ammonia synthesis plant
Generally, the intake area should meet the following requirements: it must be located upwind of the entire factory and in an area with the best air quality, while avoiding sources of air pollution such as chemical plants
Try to keep a distance of at least 300 meters from factories that handle hydrocarbon compounds, especially those that use acetylene. There are also requirements regarding the composition of the air entering these factories. Generally, the required levels are as follows: CO2: 300 PPM, CO: 35 PPM, CH4: 5 PPM, C2H2: 0.5 PPM, total hydrocarbons: 2 PPM, NH3: 0.037 mg/NM3, H2S: 0.002 mg/NM3, HF: 0.1304 mg/NM3.
