I’ve taken on a project now that requires us to conduct spectral analysis (it’s probably some kind of material retesting, right?). But I have no idea how to do it, nor how to purchase the necessary instruments. Could anyone among you offer some help!? Which elements need to be analyzed!?
1. Check the magnitude of the re-inspection quantity for the materials. 2. Is it a quantitative retest or a qualitative retest? The difference between the two is huge. 3. After understanding these circumstances, decide whether to purchase the equipment or entrust a qualified entity to conduct re-inspection; purchasing the equipment also requires staff training
Spectral analysis is primarily used to examine alloy materials (including welding materials) as well as the butt welds of these materials. It focuses on determining whether the various metal contents in the alloy materials meet the requirements of relevant standards (the specific elements involved depend on the standard specifications for that particular alloy material)； It can be analyzed using a spectrometer or a spectroscopical viewer.
