This post was last edited by visavis on 2009-5-30 14:48. Please help: I inserted a hyperlink to a PDF document in Excel, but it won’t open when clicked. I inserted a hyperlink to a Word document in Excel as well, and it worked great. I inserted a hyperlink to a PDF document in Word as well, but it still didn’t work. I don’t know what the problem is? I have Office 2003 and Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional installed

You should upgrade Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional to 8.0 or downgrade it to 6.0; I encountered the same issue before, and upgrading to 8.0 resolved it.

Upgrade it a bit; there’s no need to upgrade to 8.0. My laptop has version 7.08, and that’s also fine

There is now Adobe Acrobat 9.1 Professional, as well as a free green version; download and install it – it’s very useful.
