Chemical Engineering English!

This year, I was admitted as a graduate student in Chemical Engineering. I’m preparing for the re-examination, which includes a test on English for Chemical Engineering. I searched everywhere but couldn’t find any relevant materials. I don’t know what information you need? Vocabulary? Should it still be the English version of the textbook?
There’s no need for a major effort; the main things to prepare for are the patterns or rules behind common terms in chemistry and chemical engineering. These won’t be tested directly, but rather your ability to read professionally – you’ll be given a passage to translate and an abstract to write. Check out some examples in the library. Also, consider which school you’re applying to. Ordinary colleges have low requirements; also check whether dictionaries are allowed
You can take a look at the textbook \"Advanced Foreign Languages\" published by China University of Petroleum Press; it is related to the petroleum industry. If there are classmates available, it’s best to get their course materials for Advanced Foreign Languages, as the information in them is quite good
You need to prepare targetedly based on the examination content of the school you are applying to! The second-round exam in general professional English is not difficult; you are asked to read a professional article, explain its main idea, and then answer a few questions. Personally, I think having a grasp of common professional vocabulary, along with a solid foundation in English, should not be a problem. As a textbook, one can use \"Professional English for Chemical Engineering and Technology\" by East China University of Science and Technology (Hu Ming, Chemical Industry Press).
Oh. Literature search is a course for graduate students; it’s a good opportunity for you to practice first. It’s available online.
