One of the pumps in our facility is leaking while in operation; upon inspection, it was found that the static ring of one mechanical seal had separated from its seat, and the anti-rotation pin on the static ring seat was not located in the anti-rotation groove of the static ring, which resulted in an increased compression amount and wear of the sealing surfaces.
